Ain't love grand??
Hahahahaha!!! :-D, that's the funniest thing I've woken up to (possibly with the exception of the hubbies sleep face) for ages!!! Happy smoke free Valentine's day
And i hope you have a lovely day too. I must say, Valentine's day was far from my mind when I woke up. Not like 3-4 years ago! ππ
hi Nutkin,
Hopes you are doing ok and progressing on your recovery.
Thank you. I think I am! X
Thats good to hear, I know another person here in Australia that suffered an ABI following a racing motorcycle accident. He too is on a what we call here slow to recover program.
Unfortunately for him he has lost the ability to speak and uses a typing machine that changes type to voice. I see his frustrations Cognitively he is fine.
I came over to Queensland for 5 weeks, with the Zimbabwe Pony Club. We were competing at a National Level. That was way back in 1985!
Sorry about your friend who has lost his voice. I can imagine his frustration!
Hi ya Debs, its lovely to see you
Like Glolin has said, that poor man has a long road to recovery, but he will get their in time
Just like you gal, cos your doing just great at the moment all you have to do is Take your time and exercise them bits that dont want to c ordinate with each other get them moving again, work them and you will see, they will come back to you and maybe you will go over to Queensland again
Take care now Debs, cos your doing ever so well
PS, how many Valentine cards have you had today then
Thank you.
I didn't even get ONE. Not to worry though, I didn't expect any! ππ

Thank you so much. This is so appreciated! X
Your welcome Debs
You just keep looking forwards gal and keep that head of yours held high, cos your going to get to where you want to be very soon
If your having a bad day, then please come a flippin shouting gal and we will try our best to help you
Take care now
my friend had his accident 5 years ago and to see the progress that he has made is amazing, for the first year he could not support his own weight and to see him now on a treadmill and exercise bike is just a miracle. It has been a long road, however every week i see the improvements.
He has adapted to no voice , his biggest frustration is people not giving him the time he needs to type and have the machine speak for him, especially with the phone, people think its a prank call and hang up
Oh shame. That must be so irritating. But fantastic that he's progressed so much in other physical ways! ππ
