Good morning gasperration, and a big warm welcome to this lovely quit support site :) and a massive well done to you for keeping smoke free for 19 months, hmmm I can only dream of that, cos I'm only on my 5th week so far :o :)

As for your question erm, has anything changed in your lifestyle just recently, to bring these strong urges on ?

Perhaps Emjay or Jarvo our quit support advisers will be able to help you more :) or maybe one of members who have quit for more than 12 months would know more :)

Sorry I couldnt help more, Pete :)

Hi gasperration, I have no answer I am afraid. Just want to let you know you are not alone in this. I stopped smoking in January, however found it tough, still do. Last night I had a cig of a friend, have to say I enjoyed it. Today is a different day so onwards and upwards.I think some people just find it harder than others to forget the old ways of smoking. You have done really well hope someone can give you some advice on this. (for myself also)

Omg I can only sympathise, but couldn't advise, have never got that far, ever. Aww must be so frustrating after all that time. So have you actually smoked or just suddenly desperately wanted to. Don't give in to it, it would be such a shame, I'm sure it will go away soon.

Hiya no have not given in but the urge is soooo strong. I actually found it very easy to stop smoking but the real struggle seems to be starting now which is why i am at a loss to understand this

That is strange. I've struggled since day 1 and am still struggling along six months down the line. Can you not think of anything which might have triggered it. The first hot sunny day in 19 months perhaps? Sorry, only messing, perhaps emjay may shed some light, keep checking back here.
