help with daily struggles

Hello, I was in a work related accident in 2018 and was electrocuted. I had bad physical injuries and a TBI. I suffer from PTSD. I am here looking for help and advice on how any of you deal / manage symptoms like:

confusion, feeling overwhelmed when too many things are going on (for example, I’m at a grocery store looking at items and get confused and anxious and can’t focus on anything), easily irritated, and constantly feeling anxious and can’t sit still. I have other issues, but I am looking for advice on these to start. I go for therapy but I feel like no one understands what I deal with daily and it’s very difficult.

Thank you.

Hello. I am so very sorry to hear what happened to you. First thing I can suggest is to be gentle with yourself. What happened to you is not your fault, and neither are the side effects you have as a result.

I'm very glad that you're in therapy. I'm sorry you feel that no one understands, though. I know how frustrating it can be to have people say things that tell me that they don't understand. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that no one can understand unless they are us.
