hi everyone, I’m new to this group and just looking for folks to talk to who have also been through childhood and teen trauma, and as adults are working to heal themselves. There is a lot I’ve already worked through. I find myself feeling lonely in my marriage and I’ve tried couples therapy but my husband doesn’t seem to be able to implement the tools/skills in the moment when I’m seeking support from him. He’s usually on some form of technology during the day- phone, laptop, tv and it’s lonely. I realize I sometimes try to numb out and don’t want to do that anymore. I’m going to try and just sit with the difficult feelings. Wishing everyone a good day today and look forward to connecting.

Hello SCerennI too have CPTSD starting from childhood. I also understand the needing support when you need it.

I need to write my own intro.

I hope you have a good day
