Does anyone know of a disabled access holiday cottage/apartment (preferably with wet room) that sleeps 4-6 people, within 2 hours drive of London that allows dogs too??

Hi Kathy,

I found a holiday cottage with disability access etc in Hunstanton, Norfolk by going on Google - Holiday lets for Disabled in Norfolk. Is this too far for you?.

It was not suitable for my needs so I dismissed it. Best of luck finding something, let us know how you get on

Hi Kathy,

Most holiday accommodation should be disabled friendly these days but always best to check first – our 'holiday' leaflets give information on disabled holidays. If you could let me have your email address, I can email them to you.

Also, the website maps4pets.com enables you to search by area for pet friendly accommodation across the UK and we had a pets article in our Summer 2010 issue of PSP Matters which can be found on our website at pspeur.org/user/docs/Summer... pages 17 - 19.

I hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Debbie

Hi Kathy, My dad has CBD and we all wanted to take him on a family holiday, he fancied going to Norfolk as he has friends there. Sadly he cannot get upstairs or use a bath so for 8 of us and dog, i thought we might struggle to find somewhere. We were very lucky and found Belmont House in Heacham, it has a double bedroom and a large wetroom with toilet/shower/sink downstairs.

We had a really good week there, lots to do and the house was very spacious(garden not fab) but overall it was perfect for us.

all the best,

Vanessa
