Bell Ringing

Hi to everyone who has written comments about this problem of my sister ringing her bell in the home. She is checked on regularly by the staff and I am reluctant to ask them to take away her bell for SHORT periods. I will constantly try to reassure her that she is safe . Lack of communication I realise is a problem because her speech has almost gone. We are using flash cards, sound board and hand signals. There is no one easy solution just trial and error. Thanks for all your comments it has helped to know other people have the same problems to deal with. The staff are checking for any infections that could be causing this behaviour. Just bring on the day when this horrendous disease could be cured by a magic pill . There are so many victims not only the sufferers. Hang in there and keep smiling everyone

Thanks again
