Hi Ray,

Thank you

Hi Jill,

Yes it's the Davunetide trials. He'll probably be the one who gets the placebo!

Thank you for also posting on my blog on PSP trials to say that trials are going on at Salford. I used to live in Salford - when I went to University.

I'll keep everyone posted. I just posted the patient consent form, so should hear back soon as to when he has to go in for his initial assessment.

Hi Fiona, Kay and Kathy,

Thank you for your kind words. I'll be blogging a lot more once his trial starts. I send the forms off yesterday, so hopefully should hear soon when he has to go for his initial assessment.

At last some good news! Hope all goes well for your dad and as the others have said, I hope he gets the "real thing". We are all looking out for you and your dad and who knows - this could be the breakthrough we are looking for to help this horrid disease. Fingers crossed all goes well and there are some positive results. Please keep us updated of his progress. xx

Hi Fazia

I'm so pleased for your Dad. My Mother in Law just started the trials this week in Salford. We are hoping she receives the drug and not the placebo however we are also positive to be a part of something which could benefit so many in the future.
