Hi jill,

my husband has been on Q10 for 6 weeks now and we think it has started to help,as he feels a little less tired.I do hope you get some benefit too.

Kind regards Linda

my new carer is great and i am sure she will be a great help to me

she has to listen hard to understand my garbled speech but it will improve

The cat now gets a brush from her too as she likes cats

my sister has been on CQ10 for about 18months. She swears it makes her feel less tired. Coping with PSP is like uncharted territory - you never know what the day is going to throw at you as a carer. I wish it was not so difficult to access the help you need i.e. respite care. Has anybody got any tips or suggestions

Hi Maeve

The specialist nurses at the PSP Association are a great help. They know everything (no pressure there, nurses!), and can tell you what you should be looking for. Have you been able to attend a support group meeting?

Also, my mum's social worker has been brilliant- not that she knew anything about PSP, of course, but that didn't matter so much- she knew so much about what supports are available. I still phone her for guidance and she sees my mum at the nursing home regularly.

Hi Jill

Glad all is going well with the carer- she'll be able to read your mind soon, never mind understand your speech :)

I put the photo (of my mum) on when I registered. I'm sure if you go to 'your account' details you'll be able to use a photo that's already on your computer. I was able to use just a wee bit of a larger pic.

Hope the CoQ10 is having a positive effect: I use it in Tesco size doses for my ME and find it useful
