Our Story ….& why we’re fundraising for PSPA

Hello

My daughter Alice has the privilege of being awarded a 2025 London Marathon charity place by PSPA. My husband was diagnosed with PSP two years ago following two misdiagnoses, so this cause is very dear to us as a family. Like most of us, we knew nothing of this awful disease, however we were amazed to find out how PSPA work tirelessly to raise awareness of PSP and support those suffering with the disease alongside their carers and families.

For Alice, running the marathon is one way to show our appreciation by helping to raise funds to further invaluable research.

We recognise that everyone has many choices when it comes to donating, probably including other PSPA events, but we would be grateful if you could take a moment to read and share the following link. If you would like to help to make a positive impact by donating we would be enormously grateful.

We are on the same journey and last year our children ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon for PSPA. The PSPA team were great they sent them running shirts and were there to cheer them on as they ran around.

Good luck to Alice and I'll be going on to her donation page . Xx
