well hi everyone I went to see my neurologist and after a ten minute assessment my Dr said that I have pspand not Parkinson’s so if I was diagnosed back in 2017 that 6 years does anyone know how long people who has pap live thank u all for reading

Sorry to hear this, Glen. Please remind yourself that getting the diagnosis doesn't change the condition - it just changes the way it can be managed. It is usual to be diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease initially and clearly in your case it has taken a long time before this changed so that might indicate the PSP-P variant which tends to progress more slowly. I'm sure it is a lot to take in but getting the correct diagnosis is a good thing. Hope and hugs🌻🫂
