Eyegaze assistive technology

Hi, I'm not sure whether Eyegaze technology would be of any help to anyone who is unable to communicate effectively and doesn't have dementia with psp. My mum has psp but also has confused episodes - seeing things etc. She can still talk (not her normal voice) but can understand her which I'm thankful. The reason I'm mentioning Eyegaze is my daughter was with someone who was using it to communicate and she said it was amazing. Just thought would share to this site as maybe of some help to someone. My mum was diagnosed Nov last year and I've found this site is full of valuable information so thank you. Kim (NorthEast)

I'd be interested to hear anyone with experience of this. My husband has little voice left, I had assumed Eyegaze technology would not work because of the issues with eye movements, and increasing difficulty keeping the eyes open. Would be delighted if anyone has been able to overcome this. Thanks for posting πŸŒ»πŸ«‚πŸ‘€
