My husband is free from this horrible disease. He passed away 1/24/24 at 68. I miss him horribly but I’m so glad he’s not suffering anymore. He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2019 and then later with PSP in 2020. The last 1 1/2 years was really tough and if it wasn’t for my kids, this forum and prayer I wouldn’t have been able to make it. This disease is resentless and it will bring the worse out in you. Be kind to yourself. Your spouse will know that you’re angry with the disease not them.

I wish you all the best. Many hugs.

So sorry for your loss. PSP does bring out the worst in us but don't let it overshadow it has brought out the best in us too. 🫂

so sorry for your loss but glad your loved one is now at peace and no longer suffering. PSP and CBD are horrendous conditions, it definitely brings out the worst in me no matter how hard I try.

So sorry for your loss. You're right, PSP does bring out the worst in us. It's a huge regret of mine that I wasn't patient enough at times. As carers we are pushed to the limit. I'm sure though that your husband and mine understand now why we acted as we did. Time to focus on the beautiful moments shared. God bless you x 🙏

I'm sorry for your loss. Your post is another reminder that the disease is the enemy and that I shouldn't let it turn me against my husband - even when his behaviours make me want to scream. I wish you all the best as you continue your life. 🫂🌻💜
