You just have to keep talking and asking questions to provoke a response. Watch for any type of reaction , dont get downhearted ,it works .

My husband with PSP is in hospital with a UTI at the moment. He was very sick with urosepsis and had very high fevers. He couldn’t walk or talk at the time but is slowly improving now at day 12 but that is with his rehab specialist and team of therapists helping him.

My husband had a UTI. He seemed like he was so much worst at communication, and then when he recovered he could talk again. However it would depend where your loved one is in his disease process. My husband hardly talks at this point. I’m so sorry for all that you are going through. The Lord is my source of strength to get through this painful time.
