Vacation

Good morning, yesterday my husband fell and I think he cracked a rib. We are supposed to go on vacation starting tomorrow. I am just wondering if we shouldn’t go, waiting on the hospice nurse. Thanks for listening.

Steve did this to me as well! I took him to A & E, got a total roasting from the staff, (in the middle of the waiting room,) saying it was absolutely inappropriate waste of resources, there is nothing they can do for broken ribs. The fact my brother in law nearly died a couple of months before due to his ribs going into his spleen, is beside the point.

Get him checked out, if only to reassure you and make sure they prescribe some good painkillers. Pack some laxatives and enjoy your holiday. Of course he will be in pain, but holidays are precious and not to be discarded easily. Especially in the environment we are all in at the moment.

Sending big hug and much love

Lots of love

I’m sorry that happened! I agree with Anne. Get him checked out and then take your vacation. That’s what I would do.
