Joyful news in the midst of it all!

I just have to share with you all that we had our first grandchild (baby girl) two days ago. She is and will continue to be such a gift to our family, particularly in the midst of her failing Grandfather. Her birth is such good timing for what we are going through. The Lord is good.

Grandchildren are such a blessing and distraction from the awfulness of these horrible diseases. I hope Grandad manages to get a cuddle, Bens face used to light up when our two grandchildren cane to visit even though they were a bit wary of this strange acting Grumps, bless them.
