Well we had a lovely weekend and a good send off for Valerie. My 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren all came down to Cornwall to make Valerie's wish come true.
We hired a speedboat at Padstow and took her ashes out into the Camel estuary where we put her into the sea off Daymer Bay. The weather was lovely , the sea was calm (no sickness !! ) and we all had a good cry. Valerie has been going on the speedboat every time she was in Cornwall over the last 50 years - she would have loved it.
I have a photo I will post when I can get instruction from a grandson !
Now I must work out where I go from here - I know it won't be easy but I'll try.
Thanks to you all for your support. Love and hugs Bryan

Dear Bryan, what a lovely farewell. Treasure the memory, it will help, knowing you sent her off in style.
Where do you go from here? 64 million dollar question. Doing what you have been doing, up until now. If you wake up, then you have to get up! Life does carry on, it is sort of bearable. Find lots to keep yourself busy. Most of all, stop worrying about tomorrow. Live for today, concentrate on getting through the next five minutes. Before, we always use to say, today has enough challenges, nothing has changed.
We are all still here to listen to you and a shoulder to cry on.
Anne as always your words and advice are spot on, we all very much appreciate your continued support, you are one very valued member of our team! Thank you from us all x
A lovely send off for your loved one and you can be proud you did everything you could. Like many of us you will now be facing new challenges so of course it’s one day at a time. Take it easy. Love Jxx
Dear Bryan that actually made me cry, sounds so lovely, that’s where I’d like to go, into the sea (not Brighton) I might add, but somewhere tranquil and peaceful!
Where do you go from here? Good question my love?! Just take time as much as you need, you need to slowly recover now, will you ever? Probably not, but time and all that nonsense......
Sending you huge hugs, your a wonderful chap, all the ladies instantly adored you at the first meet up in March!! 💕
Thank you for sharing this with us. I hope you are able to take some comfort from these memories as time goes on, one day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time. X
Sounds perfect and lovely to have all the family together. Now you need to look after yourself and make a different life . Hope to see you Friday. Love Pauline x
What a lovely send off for Valerie. You have done all you possibly could for Val, so now do the same for yourself, I`m sure she would want you to look after yourself as well as you looked after her. We are all here - plenty of shoulders to lean on !
