Philadelphia has regressed to winter. My heater died the 30th of March. It’s a hot water system. Talking to the plumber we both decided to wait to deal with it due to the virus. It had been mild up until then. The minute it died winter returned. The house has been around 55F degrees since it died. I don’t mind too much. I find excuses to make things in the oven to put some heat in here.

I live south of Orlando, having medically retired as an Analyst from Walt Disney World. For us winter put in another appearance a few days ago when the high only got to 70. This time of year we are normally low to mid 80's. It was so warm and early this year that my Lily's bloomed more than a month early.

Tis certain we live in unusual times. Best of luck with your heat issue and I hope you don't suffer.

The daffodils and tulips pictured are suppose to bloom in May. They are a month ahead. Winter was so mild this year if was hardly noticeable. Now that it’s suppose to be over it shows up.

Had just a couple of daffodils bloom here in Detroit. Tulips will open in a day or two. We had a mild winter, as well. Thanks for sharing! Be Well!!🌸

Beauty in the midst of so much hardship....thanks for posting. I hope you still have hot water for showers or baths, so at least you can do that to warm up.

The water heater is separate. Today the sun is out. The house faces south. I will sit on the front porch to warm up.

I find myself frequently looking out the window. With the cool weather rolling back in the tulips life span has been extended.

Gorgeous -- Moms Dogwood tree started to bloom here in Ohio, and then SMACK -- winter wonderland the last two days..... wow a picture of spring you shared! Love it.

The daffodils and tulips are supposed to flower in May. Winter was so mild they are a month ahead of time. I hope this doesn’t mean a very hot summer showing up in May.

Larry’s garden is gorgeous! I can see you sitting on the porch reminiscing the good times. I love waking up and seeing your beautiful flowers!

I hope you have an electric blanket to stay warm. I don’t think I could handle 55 degrees without a space heater or a roaring fire. Stay warm and stay safe.

Leaving here will be hard when I do. We spent 31 years in this house working on the yard as we went.

Larry took care of the garden. He would manicure it. Over the last 4 years it has been pretty much on its own. I am trying to get some control over it again.

I understand. I’m not sure what I’ll do when hubby’s time comes but I know that I will take my time and not make any rash decisions having the luxury to be able to grieve on my own terms. One thing that always sticks in my head is what my husband has always told me. And that is, that my job is to be happy. Easier said than done. Right?

Beautiful view out your window. Enjoy them while they last. My bulbs have been done for awhile because we had unseasonably warm weather in January here in Central California. Thanks for sharing yours.

Now I'm using the corona isolation to get the rest of my yard in shape. It's kept me from going stir crazy. Our weather has been like a roller coaster ride this year. Right now it's nearly perfect, no telling what tomorrow will be though.

Beautiful and lovely to look out to - I love a nice garden with lots of colour. The garden that Steve and I made gives me great pleasure and comfort. I created a new rose section after he died with rose plants that I was given after he died, hopefully it will come into its own this year. Have a good day

Thanks for sharing that beautiful picture of the garden you and Larry created. It will bring you joy for years to come, what a gift, especially now. Spring gardens are always a good sign of life going forward with renewed energy and hope. My garden bloomed very early this year in Coastal North Carolina, mild winter here as well and plenty of rain. Stay safe and hope your heater situation is resolved soon-

Our winters are getting milder as well. When I was a kid we were zone 6. Now we are zone 7. This past winter I think was a zone 8 winter.
