Yes Peter Jones, it is Colin with his hat on. He wears it whenever we are out, along with his shades to keep the light from his eyes. A beautiful red damsel fly landed on the hat but I'd just closed the iPad camera down. By the time I'd opened it again it had flown away. I'm hoping we don't have a hard winter. Our village is all hills. If it snows or is icy our road remains so until it thaws. We may see one gritter during the winter if we are lucky. We would be unable to get the car out so would be stuck indoors. Last winter was ok (for us). Plenty of rain but no floods as it rushes past and no snow. It was our first winter with carers so they were able to come every day. If it snows they would have to leave their car on the main road, if it is clear, and walk to us. But no negative talk, it is going to be a lovely mild winter as you are going to send some of your sun to u aren't you.

We did call in on you for lunch yesterday but you weren't at home. Your staff looked after us though. Next time maybe. We will make the most of this "season of mists and mellow fruitfulness ".

THEY TAKE US OUT FOR A RIDE IN THE VANS OR TO A SHOPPING TOWN OR TO ENTERTAINMENT OR SOMYIMES THEY STAY IN AND PLAY CARDS OR GAMES EVERY WEDS WE HAVE AN AFTERNOON OF PHYSIO WHICH I LIKE BECAUSE IT GETS YOU MOVING AGAIN IF YOU WERE AT HOME I WPOULD NOT GET MUCH EXERSIZE MATEY THE GOVERMENT GIVE US 210 DOLLARS A FORTNIGHT FREE OF TAXATION ITS CALLED A CARERS ALLOWANCE OR YOU CAN HAVE A CARERS PENSION WHICH IS MORE BUT YOU PAY TAX ON IT SORRY MATE I DONT KNOW HOW MUCH THAT IS

Not in bed yet Peter Jones? Or are you waiting for the Eclipse and red moon. I hope it is more spectacular than the blue moon was a few weeks ago here.

I only took my laptop in to be looked at on Friday. I took it to a small company in our village. 3 men work there and have repaired several friends machines. He told me if it wasn't worth repairing he would download all my photo's and save them. I have saved some but I don't think all of them. He is ringing on Monday/Tuesday to tell me the verdict and how much it will cost if it's mended. He said if he can't fix it, he won't charge. It's over 8 years old and that's a pensioner in computer life so who knows. If it does work I may buy Windows 10 to keep the old brain working trying to come to grips with it.

I'm not sure if Colin likes his day centre. When he could speak and I asked him he said, "I go for you". It sounds a bit like your group but he can't join in much. He likes the dog who visits, his reflexology and the little religeous service/meeting they have. I usually stay for a cup of tea when I pick him up and the staff are all very helpful.

Cup of coffee for Colin now so I'll say goodnight to you, good day to us.
