Both babies are sound asleep. Their little bodies breathe so fast! One of them is sleeping on its back with its little beak straight up in the sunshine. Can you see it?

A www, so delightful. So, I guess not too long now before they fly and mum will keep an eye on them for a few days before she sends them off to fend for themselves (unlike human children who have a tendency to keep coming back - lol).

Yes, l can see it! Brace yourself soon they will be teenagers... they will be crazy flyers as they learn to do fancy acrobatics in the air. Such fun to watch them. Sending hugs... Granni B
SewBears, I just had to pop in again to say that I sat down for a cuppa and turned on the TV and heard a news item that was talking about the scientifically proven value of nature on our well being and mental health, especially in such times of this lockdown. It seems that the wildlife trust has installed webcams up and down the country whereby folks can log into a site to get a taste of nature without leaving their chair; especially important for those with no outside space or indeed are housebound.
So you see, you've done your own little bit without realising the value of what you've been sharing with us.

Thanks Hils! I’m in awe of the entire experience and I’m so pleased that I’ve been able to share this with our fabulous group here on this forum. We all know too well not to take anything for granted. I made a lovely slideshow of the pictures for hubby and played it on our big screen TV for him. It brought tears to his eyes. Simply beautiful!
Awww, that was lovely for you to be able to share the pics with hubby; it's brought tears to my eyes but in a happy way, if you get my drift. As I said before, these small diversions amidst the anxiety and uncertainty of the present are just the best tonic and such a privilege for you to have captured these moments.
With Love
Hils
