I am fairly new to the Forum but it helps to know others are going through the same journey. My husband was initially dx 2014 with Parkinson's disease but then in May 2018 the Consultant thought it was probably PSP? He is now in a Care home & has been for a year, but it's very sad & hard to come to terms with. I have worked in Care for 25 years & still work 2 shifts a week so never envisaged this for my husband's retirement.I could not keep him safe at home as was having to many falls etc & no safety awareness? He does not speak now & it's just like a whisper!! I have not been able to visit for 2 weeks but they did a video call this morning so it was good to see him. What difficult times we are living in??
