My husband was pushing on the crook of his arm and then his body shook rapidly for a couple of seconds. Has anyone seen this happen?

Shaking body
I've never read of a sort of pressure point causing that. It may be the 2 are unrelated, he just happened to be pressing there when he had body shakes.

Yes, my husband’s body shakes frequently. It’s not always his entire body, sometimes it’s just one area that does a weird shake/spasm thing. He’ll uncontrollably lift one or both of his arms and the arms wiggle quickly and oddly. He can shake the entire car when he does this. I ask him if he’s aware of what’s happening after an episode and he tells me no. I think it’s muscle spasms and I’m hoping that they aren’t triggered by mini seizures 🤷♀️ I’m hoping that it’ll happen during one of our doctor sessions so that I can provide proof of what I’m talking about.
Crazy life right now 😱

I hope it happens in the doctor's office too... seeing is believing. It will help the doctor & staff have a better understanding of what you are trying to explain. Sometimes they just don't get it. Sending hugs... Granni B
The only time I saw something like that was when my husband would get really agitated with me because I couldn't understand what he was trying to say.

It sounds like myoclonus. I experienced it often early in my diagnosis... still do but not as much. I like Ron's idea about capturing in on phone video.

My husband flails at least once a week. First time it happened I called an ambulance. I thought he was having a seizure. It was at our son’s house in Oakville, Ont.. He was checked out - cat scans, ECG, etc. and sent home. I recall first time visits to the a Neurologist and he asked me whether my husband flails . He told me it happens to PSP patients.
I have videos that I taped. Wish I knew how to share it
I do not think there is much one can do just try to calm them down as it is happening.
Good to know. Thank you for sharing.
