Momma and I have been fighting upper respiratory issues this winter; I think we’ve been gladiators! Now ... we are breathing salt air and resting a few days in the sunshine .... I’m about tired of the winter up North! Change is on the horizon ....
Hello all .. : Momma and I have been... - PSP Association
Hello all ..
Enjoy your break and I hope the sea air clears those passages quickly.
Sending big hug and much love

Thank you Anne - I’m think this may be the last or next to last 🚢 cruise for Momma —- it’s been a lot of work, of course worth it —- but I’m having to feed her most times now. Her right hand is curling and stiffening ALOT.
Oh Kim, I feel for you. I use to regularly take Steve to South Africa, we had a house over there. We did finally get to our last visit and decision was made to sell the house. I just couldn’t manage any more. The flight was far too long, the house had too many steps, the car was too difficult for Steve to get into. Everything was TOO much. Scars are still there, but I had to accept, PSP had won that battle. There is only so much strength we have and it’s now needed for the part of the journey. Please don’t feel that you are letting your Mum down, be proud that you have given her as much as you have, with these cruises.
Sending big hug and much love

Thank you for sharing this with me, as I sit On Our balcony headed back to port in the morning - Momma is sleeping a lot. She is sleeping now - a couple of hours in the afternoon has become normal; even more so on this cruise. I’m amazed at how much she is sleeping, but I encourage it .. she will completely look exhausted and I know it’s time.
South Africa ... I love South Africa! Up until I completely devoted caretaking to Mom, I traveled to South Africa for 10 years on business every October; this was the first year I had to pass. I have made many friends all over South Africa, in addition to Namibia and Kenya! Love the people so much!
My upper respiratory issue turned out to be pneumonia. Be careful.
A beautiful picture. You both look so happy and relaxed. Enjoy that salt air and sunshine. It looks very inviting.
Lovely photo - hope the mild weather and sea air give you both a really good boost
Love to you both

I can taste the salt, enjoy. It maybe your last cruise but you have had it & will be able to look back on it with pleasure. I remember when I use to moan as a kid at the end of holidays Mum always telling me, but you've had your holiday, be thankful for that. xxx
I hope that you’re both feeling better. Lovely photo! Thank you for checking in, I’ve missed your posts 🥰
Hey hey hey!!! How are you doing?! Feeling a smidge better ... hanging in there. Just wrapping the last night of our cruise - mom has been sleeping a lot on this trip ... she’s struggling with using utensils to eat now, so I’m having to help her — she started getting double vision the last few weeks, so changes and more changes. I’m afraid this will be our last cruise —- was hoping for maybe one more, but this week has been tough. Oh but she sure enjoys it ... so, I don’t know.
Hope you’re well!! Xoxo
Beautiful photo. I regret not taking more photos of me and my mum. But everyone is now very precious.
Have a wonderful holiday together,

Great photo as usual. As my grandkids say "It makes me so jelly". I'm only getting around to your post today as I'm also getting over a nasty bug.
