My beautiful mother has managed to keep going despite no fluids for 5 days. It’s her youngest granddaughters 17th birthday and she has stuck around. Her determination is awesome.
No movement now just sleeping most of the time. Her time will be very soon and seeing her lying here it’s quite obvious to me that she is gaining all her strength to grow her glorious wings xx

Yes, Sarah, as a song dear to me says, “And He will bear you up on eagle’s wings/Carry you on the breath of dawn, /Make you to shine like the sun, /And hold you, hold you in the palm of His hand.”
Thank you Sarah you took me back to my wife's passing in August which was also so peaceful. I loved the wings analogy. May the peace of God be with. Love & prayers Ken.
sending you lots of love and hugs ,may she be free from this horrible disease xx

You have been a wonderful caregiver and a very strong advocate for your mother. Now is your time to be the daughter and help give her a graceful exit.loved how you described your mom gaining strength to grow her wings.
Your mum is a very determined lady having kept going. Its lovely she saw her granddaughter's birthday. My mum was the same, only she held on until her oldest granddaughter got her exam results. (Mum took a very keen interest in their school work) I hope your mum has a peaceful passing and her beautiful wings take her up.
Will be thinking of you both. Lots of love, Nanny857xx
