Hi everyone, my mum Margaret had just lost her battle and breathed her last breath on 25 oct 2019 after almost 7 years from first diagnosis. It has been a cruel 7 years as we watched mum fade away. Thank you all for sharing your experience and support. Thank you and love from Malaysia.

It's easy to philosophise and say that it was good that our loved one has passed into a state of no pain and suffering! But yet we loved them and selfishly held on to their physical presence, to give ourselves comfort, rather than being happy for their release from worldly imprisonment and total helplessness!
I am yet to get over the loss of my wife even after these cruel five months and trying to fight back the tears welling up in my eyes! May the good Lord give you the strength to bear the loss and to get t used to a life without your loved one!
It’s so very sad to loose a loved one, first to PSP and then totally. All our thoughts and prayers for you at this difficult time. Sending you tons of love and BIG hugs
My sincere condolences to you and your family. My prayers are for you to find comfort in your Mum no longer suffering and immerse yourself in the memories.
Similar scenario my mum died 23/10/18 In her sleep after around 6 years from diagnosis and probably 12 years from first faint symptoms. Very sad time wish you and your family well. X
