Shaking

I have come to visit my mum and today she has been shaking from head to toe is this normal

Could she be having some sort of seizure? Is she at home or in a care facility?

Think it was a seizure of some sort. It’s not unusual. Larry had his first one a week ago Saturday morning at 12:35. I woke to sounds of gulping and moaning. Going into his bedroom he was shaking from head to toe. Talking to him he was unresponsive. As I stood there it seem to subside. In the morning he had no idea this had happened. Having read about them on this site I wasn’t too concerned.

Thank you she was alert but just shaking uncontrollably my dad called an ambulance and they taking her in so just have to wait

Liz has had some episodes like that. They were not seizures for her. She described them as being like cramp. They looked like seizures.

Hopefully she will have an EEG and that will sort it out.

Hi, My partner has had from time to time jerkiness from head to bottom- first time scared me a lot...weekend as usual.....doctors prescribed Clonazepam - I gave him half a pill and miracle it stopped......He has had since a couple of other times but last time it lasted two days...and i ended giving 3 pills ( 2 first day ( morning and evening) and another one morning after....since then back to the normal PSP ....

It is not painful but it does tires him. hell of a lot....

Thank you for that hospital didn't really say anything just kept her in for 3 nights
