I think she is smiling also, always ready to go. Yes that is one area I go to hike or just goof off. I get out in the area about once a week but it won't be long and the roads will start to become impassable. They try to keep the one paved road open till Nov.15th but mother nature sometimes has other ideas and snow closes the road till spring. There is still snow in spots and probably later this month it'll start snowing again.

I love the expression 'goof off', don't know why but it just tickles me pink. So, I am goofing off today for a long walk with a friend along the Thames to Hampton Court for a spot of lunch and a glass of wine, when I should really be cleaning the house. No contest!
