Making Memories

We had a beautiful family picnic today, and the best surprise is all over Momma’s face! We pulled together multiple t-shirts that my Dad used to wear, and my sister in law created a spectacular blanket! Mom was so happy opening this gift!

I love this! I will be making a blanket for my granddaughter when she goes off to college. My daughter has been secretly collecting t-shirts from every sports event, etc. since she was a baby. I have no idea how to make the blanket though so I have much research to do. I also have about 5 more years before college 😂

Well done! I'm working on a 't-shirt quilt' of all my hubby's "Life is Good" t-shirts. Good memories of looking for those T's everywhere we went...
