Hello Everyone,

I'm based in France & my mom (64yo) has PSP, diagnosis done in mid April 2019, i sent an email to ABBVIE to enquire about the possibility to take part in their clinical trial in France, the medical cordinator told me on the phone to tell my Dr. to get in touch with the Lab,

Has anyone in here been through the ABBVIE/ABBV-8E12 trials ,is it recommended to be part of it ??

Adamxd my mum is also based in France and has been diagnosed with CBD in January. I emailed abbvie and they said the trial is not recruiting anymore. Can I ask which trial number you enquired about? Also did they say to contact her doctor or neurologist?

Si j’ai bien lu, la phase d’extension de l’ ABBV-8E12 porte sur la maladie d’Alzheimer et non sur la PSP.

Sur le fond, il est possible de participer à deux essais thérapeutiques, mais pas simultanément. Si ABBV-8E12 arrive en France dans la PSP, ce sera bien après l’AZP 2006, donc la question du choix ne se posera pas.

@SilP : Si tu comptes sur l'ABBV-8E12, c'est plus d'actualité en ce moment, donc mon Dr. m'a invité de se focaliser sur l'AZP2006 (une tentative pour guerir la maladie PSP) qui commencera bientot (ya pas de date encore) , c'est prevu, a priori our sept, mais c'est pas sur clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show...

Tu as le site : Clinical Trials pour chercher les essais qui concernent la maladie de ta maman, Va sur find studies->New research & tape les initials ou l'acronyme de la maladie, essai avec les options que t'as sur le site pour trouver les essais en cours/ou passés,

Hi, I am happy to hear from you. BIG hug. It has been awhile since I have read a share/comment of yours. Sending good thoughts and prayers. The ABB-vie is gone...let's see what happens with the Biogen results.
