Can anyone suggest a travel insurance company that deals with PSP patients .
Holiday insurance : Can anyone suggest a... - PSP Association
Holiday insurance
Hello Mags. Jackie has MSA not PSP but we have found Fogg Insurance to be excellent- they do a full medical questionnaire on the phone and then tend to have a modest insurance premium with an excess for a claim if related to the underlying condition.
We have had to claim in the past for cancellation and they paid quickly without fuss. Web site is foggtravelinsurance.com/
If you don't get a better reply you could try these people.
I came across this advice on the Parkinson's UK Website
Questions you may want to ask insurance companies and brokers
When you talk to a broker or insurance company you may want to check:
Is your destination covered?
Are all pre-declared medical conditions covered?
What is the upper age limit?
How does the medical screening process work?
Does using a wheelchair make a difference?
Does it make a difference if you were diagnosed recently or a while ago?
Is annual cover less or more expensive than for a single trip?
Good luck
Hiya. My husband has CBD. As long as we were staying in the UK Age Concern have provided us with travel insurance without a medical history. Good luck AliBee
When I took Valerie away ( including cruises ) we used Age Concern , Staysure or All-Clear. They were all more concerned with my previous heart history than her PSP !!!
Best wishes and have some great holidays while you can.
