So I found it!! My mom has always been a classy lady, and I have just refused letting her wear any of these ugly options they call “adult bibs” ...
I wish I would have thought of this! And they have scarves for men too!!!! The Snarf Scarf!
My Mom loves it!! I even bought one for me, because I’m always missing my mouth (my husband says I need to stop talking for a minute ... such a wise guy) NOT!

Oh yes I have bought several different styles to match! Listen... when my mom is getting dressed, she can give the orders of what works and what doesn’t ... she still calls the shots!!! 😂🙌🏻💃
Sounds like my Mum, she still likes to look nice and every evening before I leave we select what she would like to wear, including her Bibble Plus scarf style bib (handmade in the UK) and leave the outfit ready for the carers in the morning. When I went away for a few nights last year, I had to leave the outfits for the week ready. It makes such a difference to how she feels, a few times when there has been "an accident" and the carers have to change her, you know they've tried but they just haven't put the outfit together as Mum would chose and when she spent 6 months in a nursing home, it was a disaster, some of the clothes weren't even Mum's - we had to get a grip on that!!
Totally understand!!! It’s part of the daily joy that we must create - self confidence for sure
Lovely Bazooka... I do remember that someone on this site posted unique unusual bibs... maybe we can find it in an old post. They were adorable. Sending Hugs... Granni B
Found it on line... l just Googled
Adult Bibs & found Bibble Plus Clothing Protectors. Naidex...
I just bought Ruth a silver napkin clip for Valentine's as she refuses to wear any kind of bib (even those Bibbleplus ones). But a napkin is always falling down. I am not sure she is going to like it! (The scarf idea will be my next line of attack).
A silver napkin clip sounds like a wonderful idea Richard. Scarves seem to be all the rage in the USA for the last several years. As long as they are machine washable l am a big fan. Sending hugs... Granni B
Sounds really great, are they like a ordinary scarf or are they like plastic for wipeing. Been out today for a meal with friends first time in months, he was so embarrassed to Have me cut up his food and tucked the napkin under his chin, he refused to use the straw for his drink, don't blame him. Oh I also Bought one meal to share, well he eats enough to fit a saucer, now I know why we haven't been out for a long time, bLess him,but I feel the need sometimes.
My husband used to barbecue all the time and he has several “manly” aprons. I have him wear the aprons at home while eating and we’ve saved many shirts from getting stained. We don’t eat out anymore but the aprons work well at home.
