Hope it helps you Patrick.

Botox has been the one good thing that has been offered to mum

Good luck with that. It definitely helps Ruth with the dystonia pain in the foot. The pain has pretty much been kept away since the first injection February 2017. Before that she had trouble walking.

The pain in my mum's arm was helped by botox injections. Massage and physio would be other options you could try.

Hope you find a solution soon.

Lynda 😊

Thank you for your reply. Very useful tips. Where & how do you go for Botox? How much does it cost?

Hi Amth

I can't see on your profile where you are but if you are in the uk like us it should be offered free in the NHS

Mum saw her consultant at her usual 6 month check up and I just asked if she could have it . We then got an appointment with a neurologist at the same hospital who gave her the botox. She has had three lots so far at four month intervals .

It's worth really stressing the pain that your poor wife is going through. I told them that mum was screaming in pain when being washed and dressed .

I wish you well with this

Lynda 😊
