Being Creative

My mom used to be “everyone’s seamstress” ... if you needed something mended, or even back in the day .. a dress to be made; my Momma was your girl! So talented and so very creative. She really struggles with her handwriting. “It’s not as good as it it used to be”, she says. For her recent birthday, she was given craft items to create her own greeting cards - - she really seemed to enjoy doing that today. Making a holiday card for family members in her own handwriting - special memories. Love her so much.

What a lovely photo and a great idea. Art therapy is widely used in palliative care it really does help to be creative particularly for your mom if this is very much part of her makeup.

Lots of love Tippy

I used to do a lot of needlework but when I could no longer do it I took up making cross stitch cards which friends and family loved and many put into frames. Unfortunately I now have a problem with my sight due to having PSP but I did enjoy doing it whilst I could.

What a great supportive daughter you are! Your momma is fortunate in - at least - that respect!!
