I’m new to this site, and new to having to deal with problems Relating to a family member who is dying from cancer and needs to have protection overnight. However all of the pads and underwear that we have discovered for her to wear seem to cut off the pad portion in the underwear directly on her tailbone. This has caused bedsores. The skin is not split and we have decided not to wear anything again tonight. Because it hurts too much.
Can someone please give me suggestions as to the product That you have use for your loved ones and you were happy with.

My husband wears attends briefs overnight. I cut the pants off of a second brief and use the padded part and insert it from behind than pull it through from side . We have been doing this for 3 years. Not a mark on his skin . I do this during the day also if we are away from home for several hours. We tried differrent pads that do not work near as well. I was out of them one day and decided to make my own pad from one of his briefs and it worked great. My husband has advanced Parkinsons total care. He is in good health except for the inability to move. His skin is healthy so that might make a difference. It is worth a try though. I am his main care giver and have cancer that had gone to My bones and spine. We are getting by pretty well most days. Glad to be home together as long as possible.
I am so sorry to hear of the cancer that has gone to your bones and spine. My father had prostrate cancer that eventually entered his bones. VERY VERY painful. He started taking pain medication which was a god-send. He died at 92 years of age....driving his car (he renewed his license at the age of 90) until a week before passing on. He lived in the USA (CALIF).
Have you tried the ID pads. They have far less elastic in them and are softer. Nigel has the large but we have used the extra large when he is having problems. Hope this helps. xx
