Hello Blots
I do hope he had a quiet passing.
Yes, such relief and grief.
You did well by him.
I wish you the best in this difficult time.
Warmly
Kevin
Thank you. I arrived in time to visit on his last day. He wasn’t really conscious, but was calm, and his pain had been well controlled.
I'm glad you got there and that he slipped away peacefully.
I light a candle for folk here every night now and hang it by a waterfall (flowform) in my garden.
Tonight it will be for him. I hope it's OK... Just seems a nice way of celebrating a life and a spirit passing. No religion involved.
Good night.
Be well.
Warmly
Kevin
Condolences to you all.
As usual the cavalry arrive too late !!!!
Love from Jean xx
Thanks. Yes, though we didn’t know it at the time.
Jean so right. Sorry for your loss, he is in a much better place away from this horrible illness. How are you Jean? Xxxx
Blot just been reading your previous email. Interested to see your Dad lived in Cheshire. So do I and they have to be one of the worst in the country for awarding CHC funding. In fact I know they are!! Just like you I was told my husband had CHC a month before he died!!
I am sorry for you and your Mum who must feel her world has come to an end? Your Dad is in a better place now. No consolation to your Mum in particular? Condolences to her and to you. You have both been to hell and back. Everyone on this site has been. Just remember we are always here for you or your Mum.

Thank you.
Sending my condolences to you and your family. It sounds like you are getting comfort in knowing that he is now free from this disease. Hope your mother can also be comforted in the knowledge he is free. thoughts and prayers to you all. xxxxx
Dear Blots,
I am so very sorry for the loss of your father - and that that loss was to the disease of PSP. I hope you will feel some relief at this passing - not that that will be the only feeiing of course: you must be feeling great sorrow - but he is free to fly now.
May he soar like a bird over you, tipping a wing and moving up behind sun-shot clouds ...
Anne G.
So very sorry for your loss xx. BTW be sure to thank CHC for all their support... not!
