So sadly my father's battle against this disgusting disease is almost over. I would not wish what I have suffered over the past few days on my worst enemy! This disease just does not give up. It has bit by bit systematically destroyed my father taken away every part of him and now as he is at the end it is still beating him. Dr told me today that he expects dad to pass away over the next couple of days. It will be such a relief for dad to escape this evil . But what we have seen happen to him over the past few days has left both my mother and myself mentally and physically scarred! Farewell my brave father you shall be sadly missed !

Hi Darell, I'm so sorry to hear your news. You need to be brave for your father just that little bit longer. Make sure you spend all the time with him, he will enjoy you all being there for him.

It is a horrible disease, we all know that, but be strong that little bit longer and then you can let go and grieve at your leisure, as I am doing now. But for now, just make sure you there spending the time with your father.

Right now love him and tell him you do. He can still hear you. Make sure that inside that body the man who is your Father knows he is still very much loved.
