My dad was diagnosed in 2017. He passed away on Tuesday. It seemed to me that every six months he seemed to have some sort of progression of the disease. The last four months were the worst. The worst thing about PSP is that the brain remains normal but the body just doesn’t respond. Such a cruel, cruel disease.

Yes, a cruel disease and then some.

His suffering is over at least.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dear Lisa Jane; My sincere condolences to you in the loss of your dear father.

There must be a special place in heaven for all our Loved Ones who have had to endure this degrading and horrible disease.

I truly hope your dad can experience his freedom now :-)

Blessings to you.

Sorry to hear you have lost your dear Dad to this awful disease, his suffering is over now and you are left with the recent memories of that suffering. I am still in that place after loosing my husband in May. I know those PSP memories will fade and I will remember him pre PSP as time passes, I'm sure it will feel the same for you too.

Sending much love

Thank you Katie. I’m sorry for your loss. I guess we can only be grateful that our loved ones are no longer suffering. It was so sad to see my dad being bed ridden but having s brain that worked perfectly.
