The Late Late Show with James Corden:

Paul McCartney Carpool Karaoke

m.youtube.com/watch?v=QjvzC...

This is 23 minutes long. Took me back to my teenage years. Thought others might enjoy it.

I saw this over the weekend. Made me smile. Lovely to see his childhood home and how he wrote Let it Be.

One of the best James Corden has done. I loved it.

You mean you were a teenager too? 😂 I wonder could we ask him to show us around the places he grew up? It was certainly an interesting 23 minutes! Took me way back! I will have to show this to my son and Grandchildren!

Thanks a lot for thinking of us all.

Marie x (definitely an Ex-teenager) 😅 but don't behave that way I am told!

I was 16 when they arrived at Kennedy Airport in NYC in 1964. Life was never the same. They showed up with the wound of the Kennedy assassination still very fresh. They were a balm for many young people.

Jeff I can understand that feeling. I grew up in Ireland so Kennedy was the hero of young and old. He was very much our President too. Or that's how we felt.

I managed to see him on the way into Dublin after he landed at the airport. It was a special moment. He was dead a few months later. So very sad to think anyone could do that? He made a huge impression on me and so many young people. A sad world we live in now?

Thanks for helping me remember a better time.

In retrospect it’s looks like a better time. At the time lots of really terrible things happened. Over the decades we did make progress on beginning to solve the problems we were facing. Now things seem to be sliding backwards. I never thought I live to see the state of the American government we have today.

Jeff you are right of course. Lots of awful things happened. I think when we were young we had hope for the future though? It was different in each country of course. Was it just because we were young? I think young people now seem weighed down with worry.

I think every country is suffering from a glut of career politicians! Once upon a time in this country ordinary people could be an MP and were! Very hard for anyone to do that now. Unless you have money of course! The odd one slips through but you could count them!

I know only too well what you feel. I would love to say life is wonderful here but that wouldn't be true!

My son shared this with me on fb, I thought it was brilliant. My mom went to see the Beatles arrive at the airport but never actually saw them as she fainted !

She must still hate herself for fainting.
