Head noise

Does anyone with PSP suffer from acute head noise? Tinnitus in the head rather than ringing in the ears. Ian is finding this more unbearable than the mobility issues as it is 24/7.

I have suffered from tinnitus for at least 10 years, I't doesn't bother me any more if you ignore it it tends to go by itself not much help i know. i a m not sure whether its a psp thing.

My hubby with CBD was diagnosed with tinnitus for a long time and then was fitted for hearing aids that he generally refused to wear as he said they did not help.

Now, it is a moot point as to whether it was correctly diagnosed and treated!

I have also documented skin problems, possibly psoriasis, when he got warts and excess skin all over his body. An alternative diagnosis was given as ichthyosis. Either way, to me it seemed the body/brain had lost the ability to control the production of skin cells.

Don't know that either has been clinically linked to brain dysfunction, but they have appeared as problems here on this site!

Thanks Jen. It is an horrendous issue to manage, on top of these new PSP developments. I don't know how he bears it with such courage and grace. We have the hearing aids that emit a special frequency to try to reeducate the receptors in his brain, but not doing a great deal at the moment, though at least it is something.

The brain is still such a mystery, it seems.
