Hi Jeanette.

No I've not come across this. Hopefully someone here has.

I looks very interesting.

If it's a paid for service I would offer one word of caution.

If the recorded voice is played back by pressing on a keyboard of some sort then the keyboard will have to be big.

Eyesight can become poor and the ability to press buttons goes. We tried a large alphabet board but Liz had too much trouble pointing at the letters which were about 1" by 2".

Here ability to speak lasted a lot longer.

Just a thought and everyone is different.

Best

Kevin

Hi Kevin, it is done through the hospital and the speech therapist. I record lots of different words and phrases perhaps 1500. These are stored with an American company which the hospital use. If needed I can pay £70 to get it back. If I can't use the keyboard my nurse says that a special pair of glasses can be used which somehow is connected to a mouse and works by eye movement. I should know more tomorrow after her visit. Best wishes. Jeanette.

Most interested in hearing more about this Jeannette, as hubby's speech is getting less and less!

Thanks

Hi everyone! I had a visit today from a speech and language therapist. You need to have windows 7/10 (which I haven't got so need upgrade). If you Google Model Talker you can find more information! Jeanette x
