Can someone give me advice

Hi. What a lovely photo. Your Mum's legs could be totally unrelated to CBD so she should see her doctor. Unfortunately when someone has a long term condition it is always thought to be the 'cause' of something being wrong. If her legs are swollen it puts pressure on all the nerve endings and other tissues in her feet and legs. She could try sitting with her feet up and then doing some excercises by pulling her feet up so that he feet are at 90 degrees to her legs and the calf muscles tighten up as this will help the blood flow back up to the heart. About 5 excercises each hour, but doctor too. Hope this will help Ali B xx
My understand is that O2 levels are not really considered low till they drop below 90.
Getting her feet elevated and doing any movement at all can help with the swelling. Fluid will pool, thank you gravity, in the lowest point of the body so if sitting a lot that would be the lower legs. Normally active people don't notice this since the leg muscles act as a "pump" while walking and move the fluid back into the body, that's a very general explanation given by dad's doctor.

Hi Micky, How is her cardiac health? Has her heart been checked out? O2, wheezing, leg pain...I agree with AliBee and Dad's Helper. I just wonder if she has cardiac problems? Doesn't sound like CBD on its own....

Agree with you, raincitygirl!
My husband had CBD and before being diagnosed had heart problems, high BP, asthma and diabetes. Along the way of treatment and discussion of all, he was given a pacemaker after collapsing while on holiday.
Not saying mum might need a pacemaker! But maybe get her heart checked out.

My wife in the first year after diagnosis lost the use of firstly her left arm, then her left leg and has never stood up since. So to see your Mum still standing after 5 years is very confusing. We have never experienced heart problems in fact I reckon her heart is as 'strong as an ox'. I agree with Anne G that it doesn't sound like CBD on it's own.
