Today has been a good day after what was a horror of a day yesterday.
Mum had another seizure in early hours of yesterday morning so was very poorly and totally missed Mother's Day.
Today she had no recollection of Sunday, very achey and fatigued and wondered why so had to explain. She was so low yesterday and wasn't happy when she found out this morning what had gone on.
To cheer her up I told her she was so special that she got to have Mother's Day on a day all to herself and today was now known as Pauline's Day. The smile on her face was priceless. I went and got her gifts and she was over the moon. Moments like that make the heartaches and exhaustion melt away for a while.
She had a shower this morning and got up until this afternoon....she never ceases to amaze me. She is now tucked up watching her favourite show The Chase.
Her cognition and mood swings are getting bad and she is childlike now and so confused.

Oh what a Mother’s Day you had, your mum is lucky to have her very own Pauline’s mothers day love it, things that happen on special days why do you think something all ways goes wrong? Xxxx
Spiral sorry to hear she is sick again. You are not alone in losing patience. I bet there is nobody on this site who can say they were always patient. Fingers crossed for her that she recovers quickly.
She is fine again now. Keeps on happening, temp shoots up and then she is sick. Then goes away.
She is on low dose antibiotics now for recurring UTI and hasn't got one presently so think it is some blip going on that body temperature is no longer controlled well.
Spiral what a great thing to do. You are so kind to even think like that when you are so stressed out by this awful PSP.
Pauline's Day is somethingI will remember as being extra special. The fact that it made her so happy will forever be one of your happy memories.
Well done you for being so very kind and thoughtful. Your poor Mum is going through the mill but you gave her a lot of happiness to take her mind to a good place. Not many people are able to do that.
