A warm welcome! I only joined last week but already I've had lots of advice and felt very supported. I'm sure you will too and everyone here will help you to help your friend.

If you contact the PSP association they do amazing professional packs on request. All I ask is that there is a concerted effort to raise awareness, it is all we can do, so if you attend any multi disciplinary clinical meetings share your knowledge. The majority of peeps on this site have spent sometimes years between different specialities.

Early diagnosis is vital, not for any treatment, there is none, but to maintain a life for as long as poss and access appropriate services.

Best of luck

Julie

Hello and welcome. How good of you to ask about PSP... this could be an opportunity for you to learn more about this dreadful disease and hopefully share the information with your peers. You'll soon discover just how many health professionals no little or nothing about this rare disease and the struggles that caregivers and patients experience daily. Once again... welcome.

Welcome to the group.Ask away, I'm sure someone here will be able to guide you in the right direction.
