A balance issue........

Hi,

I am wondering if the fact that yesterday afternoon my balance got noticeably worse could be down to the fact that I may be getting a head cold ?

As I type this my head feels 'fuzzy' ........

I am just going for a walk outside to see if things will be better after a walk in the fresh air.

Any thoughts and observations will be gratefully received.

All best wishes,

Patrick.

George use to say that his head felt muzzy, that was about a year ago x

Certainly illness can affect balance. Another factor is fatigue. Hope you get over your cold soon!

Chris is noticeably unsteady if he has a cold. x

Thanks for those thoughts.......... I am hoping my balance will get back to how it was.

Home safe now, with fingers crossed for the future.

I am sure a few people who saw me walking up the road thought that I may have had one drink to many, I was walking on the footpath not the road.

Patrick it could well be. However please be careful. The last thing you need is a fall. If you break something it will drag you down further. So take care.

Be careful going out on your own Patrick, Ben's fell a few times going about his business, the last fall was a year ago when he broke his hip and his mobility has gone downhill since then. He used to say he felt drunk all of the time. I am forever on guard these days as don't want him in hospital for another 13 weeks, long stays in hospital aren't good in any way. Look after yourself Patrick.

Hi Pat

Could it be a bad day were you were under the weather?

Liz has days like that and then she is fine.

Maybe a small step down?

I am sorry you had a bad day.

Liz goes down and then a day or two later she gets an improvement. So her ability to transfer stepped down a few days ago and today it is better, but not quite as good as it was.

Sorry if I am being too blunt. I speak as I find, but I only know Liz and everyone is a little different.

I hope things are better for you tomorrow.

Warmly

Kevin

Dad feels dizzy most of the times too. Doc had told he will feel better after his sodium/potassium levels are normal. You could try a blood work?
