I spent several hours in The bathroom kneeling in front of the throne trying to coax husband to stand up . R was unable to get up . Frozen in place. I had to use 5he ceiling lift by myself in the end. We managed it with trial and error. I am so spent do not know if I can make supper or stay up to ring in the New Year. So here I sit with bailey's in hand watching hubby sleep. I am grateful I was able to get us both safely back to our easy chairs. Toileting accomplished and M getting in my toast to the new year before I fall asleep. I toast you all. Hugs Noella.

I have found tizanadine works very quickly when my guy seizes up or is agitated. It calms him down and lets him sleep. 2 mgs. Can have it every 8 hours but also can be used, as I do, in response to a situation. It's been a real godsend lately. I have had call to use it every second or third day, but am guessing I will be increasing that. His poor arms get locked tight and he gets stuck in the worst places.

I was having the Jamaican version of Bailey's at the same time...too bad I wasn't in Jamaica doing it...cheers for better days to come
