Get in touch with age concern they will help you. Yvonne
Your local council will be able to send you an information pack and application form.
Hi crackpot. You sound like you need a blue badge. Do get in touch with age concern. They will advise you and possibly help you fill in the form. They are a minefield to fill in and you always have to put the worst case scenario down because the criteria are getting stricter. Best of luck. Marie
There appear to be certain 'key'words that you need to put on your application such as 'To maintain my independence', etc, so just like the other comments, ask Age Concern to help. The first time I applied on behalf of my husband, they rejected us, then I got help with the form and they gave Geoff his badge (he is in a wheelchair now, but wasn't at the time but he couldn't walk without support and getting him in and out of the car was tricky xx
Get the form from your council office and get your gp to sign it. That's what my mum has done for my dad to get his
