This is an old article in the BMJ by Huw Morris et. al.

He went on to become Professor at the University College London Hospital (World class neurology department) where he specialises in PSP and works alongside the research wing. From posts I think he sees a number of people here... great guy!

The article goes through a description of the illness, its progression, management. and treatment.

On treatment he mentions L-dopamine and cholinergic treatment. Nether of which he thinks very helpful.

We see him and he hasn't prescribed anything - which I think says a lot.

We also see professor Morris, he is such a lovely doctor, he has supported us in the last 2 years, nothing but praise for the professor, such a down to earth person, we were given no medication at all xxxxx

He is so 'there' isn't he?

Our first meeting with him there was the local PSP Assoc. rep. there in the clinical meeting who did their bit of connecting us into support networks. A+

I've worked with medical Consultants most of my life, seldom have I seen a Dr so tuned in to what this sort of journey is about.
