Wish me luck ,CHCpanel appeal Monday . Have been practicing hangdog look ,exhaustion ( not difficult) ,and general despair . and if that doesnt work uncontrolled tears .
Hi Folks.: Wish me luck ,CHCpanel appeal... - PSP Association
Hi Folks.
Wishing you all the luck in the world - and yes, I've tried tears in the past - caused by utter frustration not sadness. It works sometimes but I do hope you won't need them!
I do hope you get it this time Georgepa. Will you meet the panel? In Kent they are an anonymous body of people who have never met the person they are discussing. If they did there may be more positive results which will mean they have to spend more.
I'll be thinking of you on Monday.

Go for it George! Uncontrollable tears? Most are use to us girls crying, but a fully grown man, Ooooooo, take a strong person to reject that!!!!
Lots of love

Hi I have mentioned to Social Services about CHC Funding for J but am not really sure what we would get and what would be provided????
George wishing you all the luck in the world, can't believe that you are having to go through all this, George cry in front of them, it will be real tears, we have all cried so much, that it is normal for us careers, life can be so evil, good luck George, everything crossed for Monday. Yvonne x
Good luck Georgepa I hope you are successful. We have just had an assessment with OT and Parkinson's nurse, just waiting to find out if it's going to be put to the panel for their decision, then again another assessment! It's such a drawn out and frustrating time, it's like I always say, the decision would be positive if they came to live at our house for a week!
Love Pat xx
Good luck, I really hope all goes well in your favour , thoughts with you xx
Good luck, man
Praying this works out for the both of you. XOXO
Hi
Its a points system so tell them everything and do not hold back. Give them all the details in how it effects day to day life for your loved one and you. If the system is set up as it should be then you should get it. After all PSP is a terminal illness and incurable so all the symptoms and care required will only ever increase usually rapidly.
good luck x
Good luck, Georgepa.
Go for it Georgepa. Throw it all at them! You and V really deserve this and I can't believe you have had to go through this protracted process. Will be thinking of you on Monday. Let us know how you get on.

Sending lots of positive vibes for Monday x
It shouldn't rely on luck but on common sense and decency. Good luck anyway you're sure to need it.
Do hope you get a positive outcome, have everything crossed for you. Xx
I never got to meet the CHC panel, only the nurse assessor (and of course the OT and Community Matron who filled in the original DST) and I had to show her all the `evidence` that I had - videos on the ipad, my scribbled diary , photos of injuries, letters from all the agencies and medics to support the appeal.
Wishing you the very best of luck.
Best of luck with the appeal, let the tears flow and the let them damn well know how it really is. I could scream for you as I feel it is completely unjust to have to go through this. Maybe they should follow you to see if you are a benefit fraudster, think they would get a shock. Oh my blood is boiling once again, calm down Kate!
Everything crossed for you on Monday .
Kate xx
