Hi Peter Jones, Colin seems to be on a plateau at the moment. No dramas thank goodness. I'm pleased you didn't squash the spider although some, where you are can be a bit more dangerous than the gentle ones we have in the UK, although one did bite me once. Years ago, when I put on a pair of tights, a spider had decided to take a nap in one of the legs. It got caught and bit my ankle which looked like a tree trunk a few hours later. Unfortunately it didn't survive as it hurt and I grabbed my ankle and it squelched beneath my hand. Ugh! Our night carer is terrified of spiders and if she sees one here, I have to put it outside before I can go to bed.
You are a survivor Peter Jones, and long may you be so.
Stay upright
Love
