Respite for 2 weeks begun

Jim has gone for respite for 2 weeks and I spent most of the day making sure he has everything he needs. Wonderful place with the most caring staff. Only wish I could afford it full time but at least I know for the next 2 weeks he has the best care possible. I hope this helps pick me up to carry on for awhile longer.

Relax and enjoy your free time and try and do things you won't be able to do when Jim returns. I have this dream that if I have time on my own I'd do the "Go Ape" course up in the trees at a nearby forest. But then who would look after him if I hurt myself?

Have fun.

Enjoy your time out, relax top up the sleep banks, it will be all too short hope he enjoys his stay. Go on and do something for yourself. Best wishes Tim

Enjoy the break, its a great feeling knowing your partner is getting the best care. Now you have a little time for yourself.
