Buttons and snaps

I have found a solution to buttons and snaps and hook on pants that are difficult to manage. I have had buttons removed and Velcro put in place to make life easier for those with difficulty with buttons and other devices to hold up pants.

What a great idea, I got Terry jogging bottoms and sweat shirts he still cant manage but it is easier for me. They are ok for the house but he has always been a shirt and trousers guy so when we go out we have to put them on. As you say putting Velcro on will really make life a easier. I will get on to it. Thank you x

You can leave the buttons in place and use velcro dots behind them, then it still looks like a regular buttoned shirt

FOLLIOTT.....VELCRO IS A WONDERFUL INVENTION IF CAN'T ,SEW ,YOU CAN BUY LIQUID STICH , FOR SOME MATERIAL THAT IS QUICK TO APPLY, BUT YOU HAVE TO

BE SURE IT'S DRY BEFORE YOU PULL THE VELCRO. HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU . GENA

Thanks for the idea, my solution was to buy my wife skirts and trousers with elastic waists saved a lot of fuss and made supporting her while undressing or pulling up garments easier to handle. Will try Velcro dots on some of her old favourites.
